We continue our series of Color & Trend Forecasting section at Studio Marcus Hay Finding inspiration in color combinations all around us, we use Instagram to capture the above images. Top image: Graphic edge, On a recent trip to Anthropologie for some prop shopping in Chelsea/ NYC we spotted just at the right time, a shaft of light cascading over a soon to be painted over graphic wall, struck by the color combo, we just love this palette and we were glad we caught it just in time. Middle image: Post it, Posters are a favourite at Studio Marcus Hay and we use them a lot in our schemes and shoots, This window at Chisholm Larsson Gallery in Chelsea had the perfect gallery of mid century posters and we were drawn to bright use of color Bottom image: Whitney openingThe new Whitney Museum in The Meatpacking distric,t in Manhattan/ NYC designed by Renzo Piano is breathtaking and we love the clever use of coloured chairs and graphic art on one of the many outdoor balconies.
