ReplyDeletewow! your place is truly inspiring! that blue in the office is just the perfect Mediterranean sky! i especially love the couch and the bedside cabinets. could i ask where you picked them up from?
ReplyDeletethanks again
Hi Mansy, thanks so much for your comment! The couch is from a company in Australia called Norman & Quaine (www.normanquaine.com.au) The bedside cabinets are vintage Danish finds, They are not marked, I got them in vintage stores as many of my pieces over the years! One of those stores is in New Hampshire, Just L, (www.yelp.com/biz/just-l-littleton) They have a FB page you can join and can ship. Hope that helps! M.
ReplyDeleteDear Marcus Hay,
ReplyDeleteThis is the THIRD time I have bought a magazine just because I was so enamoured/inspired by a certain incredibly gorgeous NY apartment - only to realise that it is a lovely variation on one I have seen already!!! (Inside Out, Elle Decoration x 2). Loving that new blue wall. ;)
Here's some proof: http://sandraeterovic.blogspot.com.au/2010/08/scarf-madness.html
All the best -- I look forward to seeing the next update!
Sandra
Oh Sandra, Thanks so much, I hope I can keep inspiring! I have 3 different apartments featured in New York over the years, I just keep moving around! Love your blog, Thanks for the link and the mention! Best Regards, Marcus
ReplyDeleteYour styling is exquisite! I just love everything about this apartment but I have particularly fallen in love with those portly white owls sitting on a shelf in your office. I hope you don't mind me asking but are these obtainable at all?
ReplyDeleteHi Emme, thanks for the comments! They were a flea market find, I think a local artist from the NY area, from the 60's/70's. They are not marked! Sorry, I know that does not help in obtaining them! They are super cute! Marcus.
ReplyDeleteFabulous interiors! Congratulations. Emma Louise Layla emmalouiselayla.com x
