Last Year in the end of Fall, It was time again to embrace Spring which in Minneapolis can be difficult when off to the flower markets with icicles hanging off your car! The reason was Clubb Wedd, Target’s Bridal Registry Catalog. I was excited to be shooting with longtime collaborator Hallie Burton www.hallieburton.com.

I won’t lie it was a big big job, multiple sets, endless trips to Target stores till 9pm most nights pulling stock for the next day’s shoot, My team Lynn, Herb and I did an amazing job of pulling it together, Thanks guys! We all deserve to catch the bride’s bouquet! ; )

With multiple sets being shot at the same time, It can’t go without mentioning the other Stylist, Natasha Louise King, who styled other still life sections of the book, she is always a source of inspiration and does beautiful work, You can read more about her on www.creamylife.com Art Directors Graham Hall and Alyson Frahm had a great vision and I loved the palette and concept, right up my alley. The feel was bright, graphic, fun and with a sense of humor intact.

We shot this job over a 3 week period, I spent many many days sourcing just the right wallpaper, props, furniture, bathroom fixtures, flowers etc that all went towards the job, also working through the sets with Steven Veit at Zeroth Set Building, who tirelessly did a marvelous job.

Here comes the Bride and like everybody, she loves a trip to Target!

    The catalog looks beautiful Marcus!!
As one of Marcus' assistants on this job, I would like to comment on how incredibly organized and professional Marcus is in his execution of projects.
He has a great eye and is so knowledgeable about props.
I am honored to work with him when he comes to Minneapolis.
